I recall days like that flying around FWA. I was working the ramp one afternoon
when a small plane landed, 3 people got out looking pale as ghosts and
trembling. They couldn’t speak. Finally after a minute or two the pilot got
himself communicative and said they had been dodging a thunderstorm
(put on your AFDB folks) The heat resistance of the virus was designed in by
the commies. It will peak around the first of November...

Worst trips I've ever had were the time I was flying into Louisville on Eastern
in a 727 and we got caught in a micro-burst on final approach and flying from
Philadephia to DC in a Twin Otter in a hurricane (David, '79).
The micro-burst was terrifying -- just as the pilot rotated (those 727s

I saw that last time I was in Costco, but passed it up.
You were the one who posted oil specials from Wal-Mart, weren't you?
What was the link?

I got 2 gal of WallyWorld Supertech (straight 30W) for $5 last week.
That'll keep the lawn mowers filled for several years. Don't dare put 30W
in the generator, never know when I'll get another December ice storm.
They make them in a factory in North Carolina if i recall, check it out
and ring them up and ask if they have one. Only 4 years for a premium
product is bullsh*t

This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software.
So the sears repair people came out today to work on the dishwasher that won’t
come on with the drain error code. Home warranty people sent them. Guy says
pump is out and they don’t make them anymore so it can’t be repaired. Guess 4
years is as long as Bosch will last? Now have to wait on them
Unlikely.
Check repairclinic.com see if they stock the part.

I actually find it hard to believe parts are not available. I searched and find
plenty of drain pumps for these so need to get the model number. I will just
replace the pump myself and they can send me a check for the new one.

That’s what I thought. Seems hard to believe they would not have parts for it
after only 4 years. I guess if they warranty wants to pay for a new one they
great. What do you bet they will want to pay for a cheap replacement.

Checked, it’s $58. Searched on amazon for the part number, there are tons of
listings. Ordered one for $34. Repair videos look like it takes about 5 minutes
to replace.

And you're now happily awaiting the settlement check from the warranty
provider that provided you with a mechanic who couldn't fix it?
Mitch.

Since WA is now going back into lock down, my medico (gerentologic practice for
the most part) had another enlightening newsletter for the clients. Pretty
much the same song and dance about washing hands, no on site lab tests, do not
come in sick, eat properly and take care of yourself stuff.

I went to an RMA auction in Houston maybe 15 yr ago, there was a gorgeous
red/black Turbo R an old guy was selling. Had like 25kmi, was perfect. I talked
to him a bit, he was downsizing his collection, liked it but didn’t seem to
have too much affection for it. Sold for $7k. Wished I could have

Looks nice, but high miles for a Rolls or Ferrari.
I can remember seeing a big name auction house sell a nice Bentley Turbo R
for $10k, back in the 1990s when it was still a reasonably contemporary
car.
Sorta wanted it, but it's probably better to dream about than actually do.
