I know you folks like a deal but don't you think it is more than a bit unreasonable to expect used oil filters to be replaced under "warranty". I truly have to doubt that the company ever intended to honour that sort of use and replace part. If I were them, I would tell you, that if you truly

No one has forced them to adopt this policy and they tout it as a major aspect of their business.  They have a better mousetrap, maybe, if customers support them.  It's called Capitalism. And if they raise their prices on stuff to cover their policies then anyone is free to shop somewhere else

Lately I've been a little irritated with my VW parts supplier. They're only about an hour and a half drive away so stuff arrives the next day after they ship, but they seem to delay shipping for a couple days after ordering. It used to be if I ordered on Monday before lunch I'd have it Tuesday
