Because the left side fell and broke off. That was the counterweight to the
right side.
Cut a teeter-totter in half at the middle, see what happens to BOTH sides.
What happened to this bridge is just about the worst-case scenario, except for

units says it's 1693.7798 megaJ and 809.64615 lb tnt -- quite a lot of
energy to dissipate.
They have bollards/barriers around the supports for the Sunshine Skyway bridge
that spans the opening of Tampa Bay into the Gulf. Previous bridge suffered the

*Should have had bollard like things in the water to deflect so that the
support pier would have avoided the direct hit.*

Could anyone help or direct me to a source for the correct alternator belts for
my 1982 240D. It has a donor engine that may have come from a 1984 300D and it
has dual belts that run from crank pulley to alternator.
One of the belts was destroyed and I pulled the other one off to measure it.

couldn't resist the tasteless joke) and you would need to make sure you have
all the mounting hardware.
I think the few of these that got sold ended up like the extra row of seats

Yeah I think there needs to be special mounts or something in the rear
cargo area for them to latch onto, they aren't plug and play on any
vehicle. And yeah pretty useless and take up a lot of room.
