FLAPS has 'em, usually. #2721? That's where I get mine (but we have
nothing newer than '86.)

Just wondering... earlier this week, I lost all lighting on my
passenger
side of my '82 w126. No low, high or fog beams.
Fuse is ok (changed it anyway to be sure), so it has to be wiring or
the
switch.
There are at least three fuses involved in what you described. (And at
least two more
switch back and forth. Does this car have a high/low relay that
could be sticking, or is it more likely the combo switch that needs
replacing?
No relay normally. Only the combo switch.

It means something is wrong with your ISP. Not that you will get this
since your subscription was automatically turned off because of bounces.
Im not sure you will get this directly either.

Stuff 'em in a foam peanut, stick it in an envelope, and put two
stamps on. (One for an oddness penalty.)
Probably cheaper to just buy 'em at McParts even so.

Check and double check your parts before you pull the old one off.
I got the leaking powersteering pump out of my 190D today no problem. Turns out
the new one is WRONG. Its an 85 bar unit, the one coming out is only 65 bar. I
was tempted to run it anyway when I noticed the new one has 1/8 play

Simulated freeway pile-up.
Getting rear-ended by a Civic / MG Metro doing 70mph isn't fun, but
getting hit by a high speed W126 after the Civic has taken it turn
would be awful.
I did a restore.

Don,
For that year it would be a 500SL, 107 body
Here's a link to OurSL.com http://www.oursl.com/listings.php?
op=showadsmodelid=12For some newer, but still 500SL's, same 107
body style.
No connection/affiliation/etc A true value and good price
are all in the eyes
Yes, realized my error a few minutes after sending. In fact, Performance
Products catalog suggests that it would actually be a 450 rather than a 500,
but I am far from an SL expert.

The 500SL in '79 would be a Euro model. I know they made 500SLC's -
for racing. I don't know if the 500SL is a standard Euro car or rare.
There aren't very many 500SLCs, and the do go for a fair amount of
money.

IIRC the factory euro 500SL did not appear until the early 80s; and imported
in small numbers by MBNA.
At the time, both gray-market and MBNA 500SLs were running around.
You'd have to check the vin # to know what model, of course
