I bought a rear door from a 68 115 years ago to
replace the crashed one on my 73 220D. The
replacement door was far off. It was not even close
to fitting. Don't know why. Still have the damaged
door on the car ten years later. I'll end up just
repairing it when I get a chance.

Of the three washers sitting on top of the monovalve insert shaft, I
had lost the 1st one in '96 but all seemed to work OK with just the
wavy steel washer and the wide, thick washer on top. When I recently
replaced the monovalve insert, I found a thin washer to place on 1st
and on top of this
BTW I was never in front of the guy, just behind, following at a
polite distance, and as soon as there was a lane change the odor
lessened. It totally dissapeared when the truck took an exit.
I usually only notice that when following a stock truck. There are also
folks who pee into drain
