Well typically, on US cars without the triangle if you pop the trunk
when it gets fully open it will bounce a couple of times. That is
because the triangle is missing. With it installed, the precise german

Ya know, I'm beginning to give serious thought to the construction
of a 'skid wrench' for emergency tire changes. It should be about
3' long, very stiff, and have something at the end to keep it from
That one got me some strange looks from my laughter while sitting in a waiting
room. A break in my usual "Driving Miss Rusty" [90 yo mil].
Good one Timothy.

The little square tail lights on 123's, 124's, 126's and others ARE minimal.
I have approached several from behind in inclement weather and could barely
see them. That's why I activate my rear fog positions as tail lights.

lid open? Ever since adding the warning triangle (heavy), it has not stayed
open well, but I noticed it being particularly bad this morning (cold)...which
made me think there was a strut (cold air, less volume, won't wo
FWIW, the frapper map on the other list was up and running and then
someone immediately placed some nasty stuff on the map over in Africa.

When ole neighbor, Ada McElrath died a few years ago she'd accumulated
almost 9,000 miles on her "new" 1967 Ford Galaxie. She used to tell me,

My brother in law is a mechanic. They had a late model pickup truck in the shop
a while back. I can't recall exact
details but the gist of it is that the oil they drained out of it was awful.

filled a 55 ga. barrel fitted with a 6 foot wide "sprinkler" pipe. They'd
"oil the dirt road" to keep the dust settled. I remember how dirty our bare
