that there is no better products out there than the 3M
line. Show Car Wax is one of
I'm a fan of plain old carnauba wax. I'd think monthly in the
desert, but the old rule of when it stops beading water is as good as
anything. You should also look for products with extra UV
protection, but I don't have any advice there as I only use carnauba
waxes when I wax my cars.
Mostly just dominance thing going on, not to eat it.

You should just be able to push them fully onto the ribbed
thingy (can't remember the right name) by hand. If you use regular
pliers, just be gentle when applying pressure. I don't recommend
needlenose pliers.
When removing the old lines, if you are using a utility knife and
I just replaced the fuel return hoses on my '300D recently and used thumb
and index finger pressure to install/seat the lines fully . . . no leaks.

I have replaced them on almost all of my Diesels just make sure to apply
firm hand pressure and you will Feel them slip in past the little ribbed
nozzles.
I have not had one leak yet and the oldest is over two years since replaced.

The only time I did pet sitting was for a friend

The dramas never stop, got the engine and box back in the car and after
adjusting the control pressure that seems all good. There was a
scrapping noise after reinstalling the rear wheel carrier but that was a
simple adjustment with a hammer on the dust shield.
