Actually, now that I think about it, the connectors on the 94 car have a plastic connector deal on it that snaps onto the fittings on the pump. The ports on the parts car pump are just straight ports sticking up and are smaller that the plastic connectors on the hoses from the car. Mitch Hal

I don't know if this helps, but they do make barbed plastic fittings with several different sized barbs (stepped) on each end. Get a 1 1/2" hose that fits on the pump. Cut back one end of the universal fitting to fit that hose. Cut the other side of the universal fitting to fit the hose from the

I have not had an older 123 240D with series plugs. On the older models, with the pull knob to glow, start, shutoff...(called a shaker system because of the glow indicator that looks like a saltshaker top) all you really need is the 4 plugs, and to make up heavy wires for the parallel system.

So one thing I've realized about Dwight's 240D is that if/when I buy it it'll need a glowplug retrofit to fast glowplugs and I'll need to strongly consider swapping in the relay system from my '83. Right now its got a button that goes to a Ford solenoid that activates the series plugs. It works
