[MBZ] Odometer issues, the new 300D50, to roll forward or not roll forward?

Mitsubishi/Dodge content (kill me if you must): I recently swapped the base model cluster in my truck for a sport cluster(tach, oil pressure, voltage, etc gauges) and the sport cluster has ~ 2K miles less on the odometer than the old base one. Normally I'd just write down the difference, shove it
