In an enterprise of nearly 40,000 computers, we use Symantec (Norton) Antivirus. Norton was gobbled up by Symantec 3-4 years ago and no longer exists. Symantec is pretty much the gold standard in enterprise environments, I see no reason why the same wouldn't be the case with stand-alone
