Copy all. Thanks! My welding experience is dated (1960s/70s) and it was
mostly stick welding but I always got better results with a MIG machine.
FWIW, that particular HF machine was 220V but that's no help if the arc
isn't stable or the feed is jerky. I'll keep looking.

required to run it, as the spec came out well after both were in production.

It should be fine, that is actually very good oil.
I agree, 0 grade oil in Florida would not be my first choice,
particularly with a high milage engine. Too much risk of lack of
lubrication if you get stuck in traffic on a blistering day.

I switched to it in my 911 and 91 300D last year and have been happy
with it. the analysis numbers look good and like you, I watch the idle
oil pressure and use that as an indication of how things are going, oil
wise.
So I pulled the pressure relief valve, it seems to move fine, had plenty
of tension so it appears to be working as far as I can tell. Put it back
in, put pan back on, new filter, fresh diesel oil. Pressure pegs when
cold. Ran it for a bit in the driveway got it up to operating temp.

almost no blowby at all, very very minimal. I just can't believe there
is a low oil pressure problem, engine seems to healthy.

Need to dig my manual out, glow plugs work but light does not come on. Bulb is
good. I swapped in a brand new preglow time relay under the dash, still does
not come on. Does that deal that screw into the head by #1 glow plug control
the light.

The thing that screws in does indeed control the light. Your glow
plugs may be working just fine as the heater element that switches the
light off can fail or the contacts can burn, but leave the plugs
operating.
On the other hand, you can get a light but no glow plugs, I think.
