My sister painted a little bit and then announced they were hiring a

My sister's take on it is that they are too busy.

All good points, however, the cut line between manslaughter and murder can
be a very fine one.

I expect prosecution will try for murder 1 with manslaughter as the
fallback position.

The fine points of what happened will have to be displayed to the jury, and
the judge, at trial.

There appears to be good cause to charge murder1 because the burden of Mens
Rea can be a very short time span... such as the time the deceased was
exiting the scene, until the shooter made the decision to shoot him in the
back multiple times... If there were only one shot, perhaps that could be
argued as heat of the moment action... but logic says multiple shots into
the retreating party demonstrates good cause for Mens Rae [intent followed
by the act].

I retreat to my status as Citizen and pass this to the courts at this

Sociopaths are sort of a tamer type of psychopath although both share many of
the same characteristics. Sociopaths tend to be less violent. Serial killers
are psychopaths, not sociopaths, for example.

Characteristics of sociopaths:

Superficial charm and good intelligence
Absence of delusions and other signs of irrational thinking
Absence of nervousness or neurotic manifestations
Unreliability
Untruthfulness and insincerity
Lack of remorse and shame
Inadequately motivated antisocial behavior
Poor judgment and failure to learn by experience
Pathologic egocentricity and incapacity for love
Specific loss of insight
Unresponsiveness in general interpersonal relations
Fantastic and uninviting behavior with alcohol and sometimes without
Suicide threats rarely carried out
Sex life impersonal, trivial, and poorly integrated
Failure to follow any life plan

Re: [MBZ] OT: Pressure Washer Recommendations?

2015-04-10 Thread Greg Fiorentino
Thanks for sharing your experiences on this!

I heeded some advice and purchased a Karcher electric (from Amazon Warehouse
Deals) It was advertised as repackaged, very good. I feel safe buying from
them, knowing I can return it without hassle if it is not satisfactory. It
arrived without a manual, but otherwise in perfect condition. The manual is
downloadable as a PDF, so no problem there. I saved $30 off their regular
$200 price, so heckuva deal. Used it today on the deck, works as expected.
Adequate for my needs and compact.

I need a new pressure washer for vehicles, decks, outdoor furniture, and the

the Sun Joe SPX3000 which can be had for less than $200 from Amazon. The
reviews are generally good, but there are quite a few negative ones. I
would prefer not to have to deal with a gasoline powered unit and of course
want to spend as little as possible. Any experiences you can share?

TIA,

Greg

As the Subject says, 2004.

P.S. Yes, I had to look twice, too.

[MBZ] It stops when shifted

2015-04-10 Thread clay
The 300D is getting more gooder. I keep swinging wrenches and it feels good
to make this junker work again.

Yesterday I pulled the bits between the shift rod and installed fresh bushings.
I borrowed the magic tool from my indy, who said I would have to remove the
shifter to get to the fool part. So, I did. He told me to not break the
neutral safety switch, so I did not when I removed the arm on the transmission.
I took all of 30 minutes to crawl under the car and finish the job.

Today I fired it up and it was not happy to light off, but did. I checked the
transmission fluid level, which was very low, like dry, low. I slowly filled
it back up to the marks while getting it warm. When I shifted it out of park
into reverse, it died. It did the same in D, but not N. Warmed it up more and
checked that it was at the proper level. Then it went into reverse with no
trouble, but it will not stay running when it goes into drive. What am I doing
wrong?

I have to move it because the neighbor from hell decided to call parking
enforcement and it got tagged for being on the street for more than 72 hours.

There is also a power steering fluid leak. I am thinking I just remove the
pump (which lives under the car, to learn where the leak is. Reservoir lives
up above, and the hose looks good. I can not see the lower connection.
