I bench bled the master cylinder before installation and now have a good

As far back (at least) as the 111 (1960) MB used a return flow
system, to keep cooler Benzin flowing to the carbs. This helps to
minimize problems. First step is to make sure the valve that
controls the return flow to the tank is working
I’m #3 in line. Don’t worry about it, it’s not going to happen.
Thanks for the offer, though.

Yes, and that might be corrected when I bleed the brakes.

I assume Curly's spell checker meant “lovely” when referring to the Zenith’s!
:-) My M108 may not be the quickest off the line with only 2.5l, but it runs
great with no hesitation at all in acceleration. It loves 55-75 mph, but will

What vapor lock?
My 108 (280SE 4.5) had the pump about 6 inches from the tank
- and down low. Pretty much no chance for classic vapor lock.
(fuel is vapor at the fuel pump so the fuel pump can't pump)
And mine had the electronic fuel

The Zeniths are a piece of cake to work with. You just have to follow the

I love the M130 with the Zenith carbs. Had this setup in several cars, W114,
W108, and they ran great. The W114, a 1970 250C, would pull stumps and easily
blow larger displacement cars away
Glad it worked out for you, Craig.

I just bought wipers for three of my cars (two sets for each), a cabin air

+1 If there is air in the rear circuit, the pedal may feel ok and
the stopping may appear to be normal, because the front brakes do
70-80% of the stopping. Bleedem, rear first.

IIRC, it was to open one set of lines, step on the brake pedal, then close
the first and open the second, step on the brake, then close them all. I'd
bleed the system first. Then again, maybe I'm not remembering correctly . .
