OK Don, (quoter of Sam Clemons and WIll Rogers) sez: One of my uncles was a glider pilot in WWII in Europe. He barely survived the crash landing, and it was over 40 years later before he would get in another aircraft. There is an audio recording of Lee Cline of WHO Radio interviewing a guy name Sylvan in the 60s or 70s about his experience as a glider pilot. Sylvan worked for the stat Conservation Commission, and Lee asked him why he walked with a limp. Sylvan told about the glider experience and the difference between training and landing in france, with the hedgerows and rock walls. Sylvan's glider hit a hedge and rock wall, and he was on his way home on his first day in france. His gimpy leg was his souvenir of trying to land a glider in a postage stamp size field in france. I'll see if I can find the cd figure out a way to put the interview online. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfYSmGl8io8 ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

Re: [MBZ] OT politics: Republicans stealing Hillary signs
If anyone other than Hillary had the same history of criminal involvement in an organized criminal enterprise over the past 40 plus years, all assets would be seized and RICO charges would be brought, trial would be held, and imprisonment would follow, for the maximum allowed by law. Both Bill and Hillary are a text book example of misusing the power of public office to manipulate, enrich themselves, control, and abuse power and trust. Only laying blame on their personal abuse of office, not any political party affiliation, and only looking at the facts, not speculation, logical conclusion can be made that ample evidence of a long standing criminal enterprise has been operated by them working in concert with others. Politics be damned, holding the vessel of public office does not give free pass to violate laws. This video is now on youtube, it runs 1:33 and while long, covers some of the back story of the Clintons. It has first party interviews [many] with people who observed illegal activity or participated in illegal activity with or at the direction of Clintons. If you watch it, draw your own conclusions. https://youtu.be/C8B43JOshC4 On Sun, Aug 30, 2015 at 7:54 AM, Max Dillon via Mercedes mercedes@okiebenz.com wrote: Craig, The last line of the story has the sign owner speculating that Republicans may be stealing the signs. [MBZ] Sudden loss of mystery oil in W123 300TD wagon
I came hope loaded with mulch after a long drive, backed up the driveway and then noticed drips of oil and followed them back into the street. Then I saw a lake of thinnish oil under the REAR of the car, dripping lustily. I caught what was left in a drip pan and checked fluids under the hood. All seemed to be OK so I am concluding tentatively that this is rear diff fluid. The self leveling suspension fluid level seems normal, and besides, SLS fluid is clear and not black.
