Yes.
"BBB" on the new mount = Better Business Bureau?

Sharpie marks with anything I replace on the car with the mileage and date,
when space permits. If you pul a filter on one of my cars it will have the
mileage it was installed at and the date.
And it gets entered in the database with date, time, cost and part information.
Example from the
The W126 chassis is a little different from the W140, but not much.
I can’t recall if the lower bolts are regular 13mm heads or if they had socket
head cap screws like the W123 - I’m sure someone here knows. Definitely do one
side at a time - it makes it a lot easier to align things.
The W126

My bad. I'm guessing that is because of heating issues which would
be minimal outside, but I get it. I might even have known that at
some point. The single wire stuff is tmmw or something like that, it
has a higher temp rated insulation.

I simply wrote a check to the indie to replace 'em in my SDL several years
ago. 'Not as good a feeling of accomplishment, but certainly made the car
more enjoyable. 'Same for the 124 when I got it 11 years ago. I normally
would have done 'em myself, but it was already getting a lot harder
Judging from the rocker panels, I'd call that terminal rust.
Also has signs of a cheap paint job. Its wet in the photos, which is a
always a big red flag.
Why is the air cleaner off the car that should run and drive?
Interior is baked. And the seats were restuffed with something other than

I’ve seen all sorts of letters on Lemforder stuff. I can only suspect that
it’s a QC think, maybe the inspector that checks it before it goes out the door?
I add to it with the mileage of the car….

The lumbar bladder, NOT the orthopedic one that has like 5 different sections,
is a piece of cake to replace. You can do it through the back cover, which
comes off with a couple of screws at the bottom and then just pulling down to
remove it.
With the back cover off you can see the old one.
OM617, right? I think the first step is to loosen the top and bottom bolts on
each mount, then raise the engine by jack with a big piece of wood supporting
the oil pan. There may be heat shields and stuff (exhaust?) to remove prior.
From foggy memory, get the new mounts top bolt going first,
I've got to replace the mounts on one of the SDs. I vaguely recall you
have to put a jack under the oil pan or somewhere to lift it a bit, then
do something to get the old ones out and the new in. Any memories of
that job, anyone? I have a pair in the garage somewhere that came with

I bought the special offset wrench for removing the top mount bolt, as it’s
buried under the manifolds. Best $15 I ever spent for a special tool for this
job. It made it go much
Thanks, Wilton.

Wow.
Doing this job for the second time, this time on youngest son's S420. I bought
the special wrench for the top mount bolt, which costs about $15. Best $15 I've
spent (so far) when it comes to special tools.
Got the passenger side done in about 20 minutes. The driver's side is next, and

Just finished this job,
What's the deal with the seat bladders? I think I have leaking ones on mine.
How hard are they to replace?

Thanks!
I hoping to put an end to the pneumatic issues that I have discovered that
appear to have plagued this car for years. I spent a while studying all of the
records last night, including the complete history from the MB dealership where
it was purchased and maintained for the first ten
As memory serves, you also need to disconnect the little anti shake shock
absorbers near the oil pan. All of my mount screws were metric socket head set
screws so you'll want quality metric allen hex bits for your 3/8 inch ratchet
set. Be sure the allen hex goes all the way into the screw

Possibly, but even today's electric aircraft carry two people for an hour.
This one carries one for 10 minutes. However, the cost is WAY less than the
commercial aircraft. I'm more interested in an electric Cri-Cri myself . . .
