Did you sustain any damage, Rich?

I was told by my SWMBO that Coach has a lifetime warranty. Send it to the
fctory and they will repair it free of charge.
Incidentally, my Steiner binoculars went south and the company (in Fort
Collins) repaired it for free.

Was probably lifetime when Wilton bought his wife's. Rumor has it
No damage here just 16-20" rain at our coordinates. Crazy. Roads closed and
flooded everywhere though, not sure if we can even get off the island right
now. Not sure where we would go if we could. It's getting bad midstate now too,
flooding very bad up there.

The aftermarket paint on the 300D suddenly failed last winter, same as
yours. Rapid peeling of clear coat on all horizontal surfaces within
a month.
On my car, I suspect inadequate thickness, can't tell you why a Benz
paint job would fail suddenly.

I watch NHK World (jap) TV news on one of the PBS subchannels every
evening, they have a good weather report. In 25min they do a very good
job on world news and weather. Japan has been hammered too with those
storms, huge winds and flooding in different areas almost every week it
seems,

Glad to hear you survived. We did have just a couple flickers of the lights,

A bunch of us got it when it was sent.
Only because it came to the list from an unsubscribed address and
sat in the approval queue while things were all whack-a-doo the las
couple of days.
Hasn't helped that I've been traveling.

Aye, if Coach can't handle it, look for a shoe repair shop, they've got the
heavy duty sewing machines to handle leather.

Full service repair and some custom leatherwork. I used to take
boots there, some 300 miles each way for me. Good folks. Family run.
Bells in Beatrice, NE is out of business, or i'd recommend that too.
Probably is a good shop in

Today we went to church, and for about 20 minutes it stopped raining so
when we got to the church parking lot the car ('95 E300, 124.131) was dry.
I found two places where the clear coat is suddenly bubbling up and
separated from the paint, a big spot on the roof and a spot on the middle
