For $60, if it gets lost, stolen or run over, you won't cry. The
$5000 fluke, most folks would cry, or at least kick the wall.
I've known a few folk with the $5000 fluke, but most were paid for by
a Gummit entity.

Absolutely. I agree.
Amazingly, I have an Extech meter I bought in the very early 1990s that still
serves me well. It’s been around so long, if it died tomorrow I wouldn’t feel
badly about it. Definitely got my money out of it.

However, if you need to buy a meter anyway, this is a good one to consider
since it also measures voltage and resistance - I think I would have bought
it had I seen it when I recently replaced the dead Extech I've been using
for 10-15 years.

On Sun,
The reason I did not reference DC clamp on meters is because of their expense
and relatively poor accuracy.
Not surprised that there are cheap ones out there now, however, as little as I
would need it, I don’t think I would invest $60 in a clamp on DC ammeter.
YMMV, of course.

Voltage is a measure of the difference in "pressure" between
two points. As
Somebody recently ordered rear calipers from Advance,Autozone etc .Question

Wagner reman ATE at crockauto $42 ea only one set left.
I bought a reman front right caliper for the 1997 S420 from Advance. I believe
the brand on it was “Cardone”, which I think is a CarQuest brand.
It’s been on the car for a year and is still working.
