I noticed the AC on my 300SD wasn't cooling today. This car had not been run for months. The line from the compressor to the radiator was quite hot but the top of the AC radiator was barely warm. The bottom of the radiator was cold and the receiver-dryer (and everything downstream) was cold.

I have one of those Harbor Freight 2 HP compressors with the 8-10 gal horizontal tank. I paid about $100 plus the bottle of oil. Water collects in the tank but it's easy to drain (the pros do it at the end of every day). The only problem to date is the spring in the unloader/check valve rusted
