i have generally used bosch prime pumps
running waste oil and doing more priming than maybe the norm seems to consume
them in a few years
they seem to be less effective … maybe the wvo deteriorates the pump rubber
previous weak one was a bosch … may still work, i need to find it
replace
I just flew out of Nashville this morning, after SWA found another airplane to
replace the one that broke, a landing gear door indicator switch quit
indicating so that was a no-go. After that was not bad.

Working on getting this 02 E320 going that I have had sitting in the
shop way too long. First up was noisy water pump replacement. Done.
Very easy job on the M112. Next up is motor mounts. Holy crap this is a
swine of a job on this car. I have done V8 mounts before and they were
easy. The

I have had Bosch fuel pumps refuse to run properly when hot, although in the
case of the sedan it would have to be both of them. On the wagon they are in
series, so just one cutting out will cause stalling.
The one in my Audi Fox did this to me on a long trip out west in 1980 -- would
cut out
Can you hear the fuel pump running when it dies?
If you replace the fuel pump relay with a jumper, does the stalling cease?

Might be a good time to load test the battery. The problem "could be" a
battery cell that is not holding charge and drawing down the battery,
rather than the alternator.
Quick to throw a load tester on the battery and confirm or eliminate the
battery as an issue.
