Yes, and don't just check with a meter. Use one of the testers with a
light bulb in it. Sometimes one will get enough voltage to make the
meter show it but not enough to power

I'm betting/hoping that the motor is OK but there is a break in the wiring
between the rear door and front console.
If the motor is bad then that is at least relatively simple to replace.

I forgot to mention - that was an early attempt that failed. The grommet is
intact.
I think for starters I will switch the wires attached to the PW motor and
hopefully that will raise the window again. if not, then I may have a bad
motor... Could it be a regulator issue??

Try holding the switch in the "up" position while opening and closing the
door. That will flex the wires in the accordion joint, which may be
broken. You can also open the door and squeeze the accordion joint while
holding the switch in the up position.

I can't get the rear driver side power window to lift on my 1983 300td. It
is stuck in the half open position. I swapped out several master
1300 14 Sep; doing fairly well here; winds during night and today 'bout 30
mph w/gusts to 45-50. Lucky to stay fairly well between rain bands most of
night and much of today. Basement still dry. Running sump pump in outside
basement well occasionally. Still have power. Center is ashore

had the fuel tank replaced 3 times by the PO. It seems it’s going to be ready
for a 4th soon. It will be going in for the SBC when it gets back.
