I was able to extract 3/4 of the cut off captive nuts for the rear trans mount.  The Ace had 10mm captive nuts of the USA style.  I was  able to get them in place with a little modification.  I salvaged the missing spring from the old trans and reassembled the B2, then got the B2 piston back in
