Thanks. Sips were what the timber framer suggested but they were out of my budget. Expensive as hell! I settled for a variant of sips on the roof. The walls will just get conventional fiberglass batt insulation. Not as good R value wise but I can do myself for less money. Sent from my iPhone

That's amazing.  i think maybe you posted something some time ago as I remember seeing some of those pics.  I love timber frames, built my house addition as a timber frame.  I used SIPs to do my walls and roof, did you consider that option?  Goes up fast, good insulation, strong... --FT On
