rockauto.com has the MANN filter kit for under $12.   I use only mann.   
Gasket is under $4 , if not included in the Mann kit.  They have 
Pentosin for $8/litre or you can buy fluid at FLAPS.


Other online sources include FCPEuro.com or autohausaz.com    Regardless 
of source, buy Mann transmission filters.  others have been known to 
colapes, leaving you FORD.

Long is an english tractor.   Used to be a dealer in the future 
birthplace of Capt. James T Kirk.   Kind of a cross between ford and 
massey.    Can't go wrong for the price.  Back tar should be around $500 
fronts $100 with tube.   Hyd pump may be rebuildable.  We had to have 
one rebuilt on a JD, but I don't remember the cost.   Otherwise, call 
Colfax tractor parts, or one of them in NE or MO for a used pump.


445 is 45 HP.   IF it had green/yellow paint, it would be 3500 to 6500.

Long Manufacturing built its first tractor in 1948. The company, 
however, soon stopped building their own and began importing tractors 
from Uzina Tractorul Brasov (UTB) and some Landinis. Long filed for 
bankruptcy in 1985, but returned by 1987 after a reorganization. In 
1998, Long Agribusiness was purchased by the Escort Group of India. The 
Long name was dropped in favor of the Farmtrac brand. Farmtrac North 
America stopped business in late 2008.   Landini has some relationship 
with Massey also.

substantial number of them.
In this case I'd want to know which tire needs replacing, if its a 
rear you could easily spend $1000. The hydraulic pump could be either 
no big deal or a massive PITA.

A cheap tractor is quite like a cheap Mercedes...

I did install new shocks in my "new" '95 E300 over the weekend, and also a
"new" trunk seal from LKQ.  Smokey is mostly ready for daily driving now,
I'll work out the remaining nit-noids in what Andrew calls a "rolling
restoration".  Paid the taxes and registration and new plate fee, all that
added up to about $120, now I'm legal for a year.

Anyone in the market for my "old" '95 E300?  It needs new front ball joints
to be a driver, and an evapectomy if you want AC.
