Struts, strut mounts, and likely the front LCA need to be replaced. If

the bishings in the LCAs, but from a practical standpoint, most just buy
new LCAs. I have 2 sets of W124 LCAs in need of bushings, but they

Sounds about right. Check the steering idler arm bushing for play. Check
steering damper too. Unfortunately the steering gear box may be the culprit,
which looks like a real pain to rebuild that.
