Yes. I don't know about MB, but I know someone who had a shop "tune" a BMW
diesel (for off road use, wink, wink) and they eliminated ALL the emissions
control crap. Obviously, this in not in EPA com

information in an ad and the wishes of the seller to not have his time wasted.

If the car is original and in good condition $40k-$50k would not be
unrealistic. I didn’t look that closely at it, but if it has been repainted and
not a “correct” MB color for the vintage, that would take away from the value.

No sealant. There is a rubber seal that is used that seals perfectly without
sealant. The pan has places formed into the edges that make it seal properly
and will distort if you overtighten. A common misstep by many, which causes the
pan to leak.

Usually the wire inside the insulation breaks, which cannot make a short.
The insulation itself has to break. I haven't seen that yet, not on any car
without the biodegradable wiring insulation.
