Generally if there is anything remotely odd-sounding about the transaction, 
such as cashing a large check from the seller and giving him back the 
difference between that and the selling price, or involving Western Union, wire 
transfers, Paypal/Venmo/Zelle or other money transfer services, it's a scam.

722.3-4-. Runs. Assessed by professional garage. Recent work: new rear 
muffler, tires flex disc, rear spheres. many mechanical records, parts
