I kinda like the looks of those but probably wouldn’t be a choice. It looks
basically like a 211 with a different body wrapped around it. Interior is
essentially the same as a 211, dash and center console. My E500 is fun and
quite powerful so I presume this car would be quite similar. Price is
Total turd but could be a great donor for a conversion. I've never seen
a rusted grill before. Has a hitch too, I wonder what towing with that
thing was like.

On the 1978-1979, there is an electronic override to the kickdown,
probably on 1980 also. You take your foot off the brake and hit the
throttle, and the kickdown solenoid is activated. If that's what's
happening, if you keep your foot in it, it will shift into second when
max speed in first is
