95% of the ones I looked into out for sale in the wild were mechanical gauges
not automotive ones. I finally followed Dan’s lead and got the Pittsburg kit
from HF.
When numb nuts returns I’ll check the system pressure…which I’m sure is 0psi.

I've had mine for close to that long and had no issues. If you're a pro using
them every day I don't know how they'd hold up, but mine might go a couple of
years between uses.

Never did get why morons want to remove the ALDA since that’s where all the
power comes from — no increased fuel with boost means far less HP.
For a 3L diesel those have plenty of go anyway — I know, I have a 300D sedan.
Right on. Those Yellow Jackets are not automotive gauges the owner said. I will
likely go the HF route for no more the I would use them.

I can't tell because I can't see the gauge faces, but those may not be
automotive manifold gauges.
Nothing wrong with the Harbor Fright manifold gauge set - I've got one I've had
for over a decade and it works just fine.

I got the seat all moved around so I could pull up the carpet and get to the

I like Caig Deoxit for cleaning connectors. And their Gold contact enhancer,
though not certain how much that really helps long term.

Oh, I won't, but I want to start there since it's either the amp or the head
unit itself, since the issue is across the board regardless of the source.
I want to get to the amp and at least disconnect and reconnect it to see if
that helps, mainly because it's located in an area that can have

Thanks, I figured that was the case. I saw a YT video where a guy measured and
carefully cut the carpet to access everything without removing the seat. I
might look into that as a time saver, especially since that part of the carpet
isn't visible when the seat is installed.
4 bolts hold the seat down, remove power connections, move seat, pull up carpet
and there’s a FRP panel that comes off to get at it. I just took apart the

Making my weekly grocery run, I noticed on the return that the audio from the
car's sound system sounded "scratchy" or staticy. Tried it on all sources and
the issue is across the board.
I'm guess in an amp that's on it's way out. I know the amp in these is located
under the driver's seat, so
