Quite ambitious in the ask. Doing the CP on the cheap would be a few $100,
going with stealer or shop would be close to $2k then you’d have a $3k car if
the engine was not a known issue. The engine is likely a ticking time bomb so
significant risk there.

Today I did a swap. I had a 99E20 I bought maybe 6yr ago for $600 with bad

chassis (CL600).
Got the car on the Quickjack and in the air, which is nice. Found the pulse
damper, which is located at the rear valve block. Definitely original. The rear
accumulator is tough to get to as it’s on
