Was driving this afternoon, there was NM in front of me, I smelled coolant then noticed it was spraying out from under the NM.  I caught up to the car (it was going 50 in a 35) and honked several times and was waving to pull over.  Did not do that, was still spewing some coolant at that point.

I got the "new" alternator in and it was not a bad job.  If I did it again tomorrow I could probably swap it in 30min, it comes out and goes in fairly easily, there are just two cooling hoses to work around and some prying to get the old one out having been in there for 17yr I guess.  The "new"
