It is mainly just the door, which would need to be replaced. I have
plenty of doors, would just have to get one painted to match. It did

I finally read thru the entire report. Looks like they show all the claims this
vehicle has been involved in. Look at how many claims it has had over the
years. Geez. I really don’t think I have a whole lot to back up a larger payout

I finished up the conductor plate on the 99 e300 and just used the no
name brand connector bushing that came with the kit. I spent 30-45
minutes trying to get the locking ring to turn and pull the connector

I am sorry if some of this is a duplicate of previous posts. I just
wanted to give an update of my claim adventure with State Farm on the 95
E300.
So I talked to them today and they finally got a hold of their insured
and established liability. I said I could send them photos etc on an
app
So the old boy who hit the e300 has State Farm. So far they have been pleasant
to deal with. They established liability and will pay. So for estimate they
want me to either take it to one of their inspection places, or download app
and take pics and send it to them. I can use whatever shop I wan

Speaking of my E300, I think I need to get some photos of the entire car
and post them and you all tell me if you think its even worth me
replacing the door and getting it painted. I did notice today it did
damage the area behind the rear door and the wheel arch.

Everything comes off from of engine, crank pulley and balancer, oil pan has to
be dropped. It’s not a complicated job just a lot of stuff to remove.

down into the engine, so the cover really needs to come off to do it, in
