How much power does it have relative to the 6.7L Cummins Diesel? If we didn't
have our 2012 Cummins, I would consider one. The 9200lb towing capacity fits
our needs, and the better fuel mileage is great since we aren't towing that
often.

I have some news on that 190D. It is an 87, Not surprising as the W201 2.5 cars
were imported from 86 to 89. The seller is going to drive it over to me
tomorrow, so I will keep everyone posted.

There was a video on Mercedessource about the owners of a W123 chasing their
tail trying to find a leak. It ended up being in the area underneath the
cowl vents where a seam had rusted through. Hopefully, it's just a hole
behind the battery.

expect the AC to work, but it would cost too much to buy
the components and restore the AC to factory condition. I think there would
have been a chance of buying the car if it was all there. It did have
european headlights which was kind of cool.

My trim strips for the top of the rain gutters on my 240D arrived today.
Glad to hear that those strips are still available! The ones on my 240D are
bent, and one of them is even broken in one spot.

About the best thing the techs, who had the cars up on the racks, could say,
was that it was a 40 year old car.
A 40 year old survivor, still in the fight! I'm about to resume the work on
the '77 240D who is definitely sporting quite a patina.
