Now why would you want to let something leak? Just think of all
the fun you might have once you get into it. Why there must be 10
or more things that could be gotten done while you are down there.

Don't know if I'm sadistic or masochistic. Maybe only bipolar or
just schizoid. I do
A little bit more involved then that. There is the ground prep to
get it all straight and level, not too bad, then there is the
framing to keep the concrete in one place, again not too bad,
Finally there is the screeing to level the concrete while the
stuff comes out of the truck. That's the
I only wish but when you scree you have to saw the 2 by, on edge,
back and forth across the pour while you drag it down the length.
It's kind of slow and heavy work even when you are in good
shape. Most of the time you don't use more then a 10' long board
and the concrete is real dense and
Curt,
You finally said something that clicked with me. Is the slave
cylinder in this car smaller or larger in bore and length of bore
then the slave cylinder in the car that the master cylinder came
out of?
Also, if the rod isn't connected to the pedal can you pull up on
the peddle and
If it's the same as the 83 then loosen the three big bolts (19mm
wrench). Then unscrew the tension bolt with a deep 10mm socket.
Worked good for me. Just did that a week or so ago.

I think that the injector might need rebuilding. Compression from the
cylinder coming back into the injector because of a problem with the
nozzle not shutting or spring pressure too low. Try taking one from one
of the other engines you have and use it. Shouldn't take very long to do
that.
Try a plumbing store and get some neoprene foam split tubing the right
inside diameter. I think even Home Depot has them to keep water pipe
from freezing. Don't get the cheaper foam as it will die in the heat.

Mike,
From what I've read about that it's only for use on turbo diesels. I
wanted to do this on my 6.5 GM van and couldn't because of that.

Terrible eh? The acceleration of my 220d suits me just fine.
Could be but when I was looking for kits a few years ago all I could
find was ones for turbos and there were quite a few companies selling
them. Safety issues? I don't know.
