what you've described, BUT if the big rubber seal inside the oil filter
were displaced when installed and finally failed - THAT COULD DO IT!
That's quite rare, but it has been reported.

You need the help of someone that understands THAT engine. Measure boost

that would fit.
If you find any, be sure they have the correct (20-25 mm) offset needed
for 123/126 chassis cars and not the greater (45-50 mm) offset used on
201/124s.

high vacuum to overcome the leak, the system defaults to defrost.
The things I described would shut off the compressor - not change the

Test by sucking (either by mouth or with a Mity Vac) on the shut off

difference. As wear in the steering system/suspension increases, the
difference becomes greater and greater.
That's why it's necessary - because it's almost impossible to compensate
accurately once there is wear ANYWHERE in the system.

the air) that will moderate the heat, but heat is still on full.

VERY complicated car to service. I'm told that the diagram just for the
lighting system of a 140 is more complex than the entire wiring diagram
of a 124.

Synthetic. I don't think M1 5w-40 has it either, but I am not certain.
MOST group III oils do used viscosity improvers!

bolts (29.5 mm) or the longer bolts will tear up the emergency brake
shoes - if they turn at all!
