Have you tried wiggling the ignition key a bit? Sometimes if you turn it
back about 10 degrees, it will make contact with the accessory lead if
the electrical portion of the switch ist kaput.

I drove a Kia Optima rental car on a recent business trip, and I thought
it was a bit sluggish. The fit and finish seemed decent, though I did
not do a close inspection.

I never understood the idea behind lifetime brake pads and shoes.
Something must wear. If not the pad and shoes; the rotors and drums will
wear. The whole point of a pad or shoe is to have something
sacrificial that is easily replaced. I prefer replacing pads and shoes
to rotors and drums.

I have a few used spare parts (linkages, gaskets, etc.) for Zenith
carburetors if anyone wants them. You pay shipping; you can have them.

It is hard to tell from the pictures, but it probably works like the old
steam traps--some sort of float inside that lifts the valve until the
liquid level drops the float again.

Are you sure it is not overflow from refueling. The overflow hose runs
out the bottom. Notice the small hole in the bottom of the refueling
area behind the gas flap. It connects to a drain hose.

Try these folks. They have wide new balance shoes. I buy almost all my
shoes from them. I wear an 8 EE (No jokes; I have heard them).

I agree with Larry that most folks should be wearing wider shoes. I am

My curiosity is piqued. Do Europeans use the same shoe sizes as the U.S?

I have no backup for my opinions, but I feel the NAPA brands are
somewhat superior in quality to the McParts brands. NAPA also sells
several levels of parts. I usually buy the best or second best. If you
feel you can trust your parts counterman, ask his opinion. Also, check
with your Indy.

Did you properly seat (bed) the brake pads when you installed them? This
is an important procedure that is often overlooked. It is more important
for some types of pads than others.
