I agree a Hybrid would potentially be a great solution. And I already started
looking for a Lexus ES Hybrid. I found one 2-3 months ago that I should have

maintenance. BUT, they did say the EGR code does occasionally come on.

I am very Leary of using a powerful buffer because I have seen people burn
through paint. I was watching a video and the guy had a “dual action” buffer.
It was smaller and less power than a real buffer. I saw one for sale at harbor
freight.
I guess my question is what is a good buffer for

I did a diesel purge with the kit from Kent (Mercedes Source). It worked very

I took my old $1000 123 to the car show this weekend. I came away an award
winner!
But, I did discover that everyone who entered and paid the entry fee got an

The exhaust on the cheap 123 I bought had rope holding the muffler up. I did
not know that. I noticed when I was about 5 miles from the car sounded louder.
This morning I went to car wash and when I pulled out the muffler dropped. It
was still connected somewhere. But, it definitely sounds
Tach started working and worked for 2 hours. I stopped for a quick break and it
wasn’t working then all of a sudden it started again.
25.6 mpg. Cruising at 75 mph. The more I drive the better it seems to run.
Radio reception sucks. For a while it only picked up 2 Spanish stations. I’m

seller did confirm that it is burning a quart of oil in 700 miles. I think he

If the timing chain guides have been done, it could be a great car. If they
have not been done, it is potentially a ticking time bomb. Mine lasted until
245K miles, but a lot of folks have had them fail at 150,000. It is a nasty
big job with a ton of labor and $1200 in parts.
