The inside rear view mirror has developed a small rattle and I want to nip it in the bud. It's NOT the automatic type. What I want to know is, is there any tricks to cracking the case to get inside? I just want to get in and take a look around and see if I can tighten something.   Walt

I never saw -80, did see -50 several times and worked in -40 all the time.  We stopped flying at -40 except for emergencies. At those temps your aircraft or vehicle was either inside or plugged in. In most cases vehicles were just left running 24/7. In the Arctic the only time I saw a vehicle
