That's what he says, and that it smooths out upon acceleration. To me that
sounds like motor mounts? Wife's 190D is going through the same thing.

Car is white, BTW, with grey interior. Just wish they'd made it in the long

I think the head gasket is the only thing you need to replace for prophylaxis,
but it wouldn't hurt to measure the piston heights at TDC to make sure the rods
(probably #1) aren't already slightly bent.

I have 3 or 4 of them right now. Make sure the engine has been replaced, or
if not and its not burning oil yet, yank it out replace the rods and head
 gasket.

I'll have to ask, they do say diesel pump seals (?) are leaking, and it's
losing power. Plus that the engine shakes. That makes me think of motor
mounts.

Hey Kaleb, would you be interested in selling one of those???

 Cons:
An engine that will self destruct with bent rods, a wiring harness that will
self destruct with heat and time, many complex computerized systems...

 Pros:
A state of the art automobile for its time. Timeless design. Awesome ride.
Built like a vault. Quiet beyond tranquility. The Princess of Wales was known
to ride in one (w140) from time to time.

This one has 193k miles on the clock, and at first I'm thinking, it's a diesel,
so no problem. My w126 has almost 400k on it, this one should be fine? But it's
sounding like a problem child?
