It sounds like your car is having similar problems to mine. I verified the
vacuum system from the actuator to the first joint. It holds fine and the
actuator moves. I'm thinking maybe I'll buy the N75 and a meter of hose.
Apparently you only need 28".

Sadly I have a spare for the ALH I'd send you, as I got the wrong one on the
first try.  For the BEW you need to have all three hose connections on the same
side, make sure that's what you get.

Didn't completely fix mine, I'll have to find my MitiVac this weekend and test
the actuator and hose.  I've been told the hose can wear at a support fitting
and collapse under vacuum, leading to lack of boost when everything else is
fine.

Mine worked great yesterday, but today on the way home from work got wonky and
the CEL came back on.  By the time I got home it was fine.

Angie's car has some kind of vacuum leak that prevents the turbo from working
properly, mine needs brakes. So after I figured my brake order I figured I'd
price the N75 valve that actuates the turbo.

Angie's 2005 has the BEW engine so this is the right one for her car, earlier
cars (up unti '03 I think) had the ALH engine, very different beast.I remember
Peter having trouble with an N75 replacement but couldn't remember which one he
had gotten.
IDParts is my favorite supplier, as good to deal with as Rusty was and I get
parts the next day since they're in state...
