and take home pahts.


We had a one day salvage fest in Elgin and took apart mao's ol 240D 
pretty well in a day.  with only 2 1/5 people.   With more time/people, 
you can do better.

I could probably get it myself for c$800.  But then it's a rusty,

was parked, and still running and had a starter, then maybe someone 
would have been able to keep it on the road.


Sad, because it is an 83 4 speed.   The best of the best.

My first junker was a sad story like that. (190Dc)  Some 20-30 something 
had it, took the brake calipers off.  let it sit.  (it was already 
rusty, but still repairable at that point)  somewhere along the line he 
offed himself.  It had been sitting 3-5 years.  The parents were selling 
it to pay towards the funeral.    Too far gone to fix.  But it provided 
a lot of good parts.
