Just sprayed the pad and hood. Got three coats out of one can. Letting the adhesive tack up for 10-15 minutes. -D ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to:

Not this stuff. They don’t offer it. Search for 3M 8090. -D > On Feb 17, 2018, at 10:47 PM, Andrew Strasfogel via Mercedes > wrote: > > The 3M spray adhesives are sold cheaper at Home Depot. > > On Sat, Feb 17, 2018 at 2:38 PM, Curley McLain via Mercedes < >

After having done one with the hood in place, I did the next two after pulling the hood off - it's much easier to work on and to keep spray off everything else. I found that I much prefer to scrape old adhesive off with the hood up-side-down than to work overhead. It takes two to comfortably and

I pretty much concur with Peter, but I like to spray/apply adhesive to the parts separately. I mask off the hood and cover the engine compartment with an old sheet. I have a roll of butcher’s paper I put down on the floor where I place the pad and spray it. Once everything sets up (five

It's been a while since we had this topic discussed, so here's the drill: 3M 8090 only, don't use anything else -- for two reasons: It stays up, and you can get it back off. Liquid nails will work, but is pure hell to clean off enough to get a new pad to stay up, I had this on the old 300D.
