I wonder what mechanically in good shape means. Lukewarm AC? Driver's
window inoperative? Tires with 1 mm of good tread left? Service engine
light won't extinguish but nothing serious?.

I would expect disclosure of all flaws, rather than a meaningless assertion
that it's in good mechanical condition.
