How much does 6 gallons of Evans coolant cost?
I bet the leaks would be quite minor at zero pressure.
What did you use as the electrolyte?
What did you use for power?

What did you use as the electrolyte?
Washing soda. Sodium carbonate. Found it in the laundry room.

Battery charger. Found it in the garage.
Net capital cost: Zero. Net result: OMFG this stuff is magic!

There might be a slight coolant leak at the middle of the intake
manifold. I suppose it could be the head gasket, but I'm wondering if
the middle section of the manifold, the carburetor perch, is heated by
a coolant passage? It has holes into the head, and somehow I'd
thought it was exhaust

I don't know much about heavy-duty engines, but it's certainly been done

Even the auto choke on my Saab V-4 Sonett was water heated!

Much crap was beaten. But only after some serious rounds of

Sigh. The head was torqued down to 175#-ft

Uncertain. You can wire it Zig-Zag, and get 50% of rated out of it as a
one-phase generator, which is still a big step up from the 5kW rope-pull
that I'm using now. Or I can rewire
