Goodness! we can't speak of long ago politics? That sort of screws the whole

I say we keep off the current crate of imbeciles looking for office, and the

So, no talk of Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, Barak Osama, W, or Abortion.

Re: [MBZ] Old news...

2015-08-25 Thread G Mann via Mercedes
Dwight,
Just speaking for myself.. while I am very sorry Mr. Carter is now dying of
cancer, and I would not wish that fate upon anyone..

Death, however, does not absolve him of his acts while living, which I have
found reprehensible. I have resolutely found his actions while President
the root cause of much of the current stress we now see in mid east with
Iran and his treatment of our ally Israel was never acceptable.

While I give him as much respect as possible for a human.. I still hold him
accountable, both living and after death for what he did and how he acted..

With respect to you personally.. others have strongly held opinions which
have meaning to them... it is their choice to voice them.. it is my choice
to listen.

Kind regards,
Grant...

To quote Randy: Wow! What lit your fuse?

Nothing mean or hateful intended. Just an observation.
Actually, Jimmay has been a pretty good ex-president, until he got
into America Bashing. I've always kinda liked him personally.

We would not be in this current situation with terrorists and jihad

I didn't find it mean or hateful, just lacking respect, flippant and/or
humorous.

Just like Senator Edward Kennedy, D-UI or

please keep your politics to yourself.

Yah - there are probably many places to say politics things - but not
among friends like you and Dwight and Curly and Grant - friends gained
by hearing wonky fixes for old cars around which we gather at
okiebenz.

I can hear lots of politics on the radio and must dismiss most of it
because it is waaay partisan. There is not much friendship in
expression of politics and in friendships, if politics is forbidden,
the only politics is pure indoctrination by partisan preachers. I
like the politics expressed by friends at okiebenz. I can learn
better politics at okiebenz than any run-of-the-mill radio rant.
Bring it on.

I am sorry that Dwight and Jaime were injured by the expressed
politics of Curly but I can read through a bit further and see that
there was not much mal-intent in the brief Curly statement.

Nothing really changes, but I enjoy the okiebenz friendly banter
better than the media baloney where everyone is enemy and trying to
indoctrinate me.

Does anyone hear Mike Rivero at gcnlive.com or whatreallyhappened.com ?
I enoy his commentary which is clearly not progressive, but it is less
demeaning than the non-progressive preachers. Rivero seems to put a
bit of different spin to expose other non MSM (Main Stream Media)
information.

They had a carb, dist, and an IP.
