Other that the airbox needing to be replaced, the heat melted the connector for the main engine harness, and also melted off the outer wire loom but the actual wires themselves seem fine. It looks like hell and I would like to try and clean it up as Best I can if anybody has any ideas. Other than that I would have to replace the engine harness side and splice in part of the harness on the car side. Got to replace some melted vacuum likes in the area also. I will probably just leave the wiring as is right now unless something else presents itself later. The car does start and run fine as if nothing happened. Here are some photo. I also shot a video I will be uploading soon that was intended to explain to all the morons who commented on the news story about how something like this is simply impossible.
