So a week or so ago I posted about the oil leak I was
having on my 300td...
Someone replayed to check the oil drain tube out of
the bottom of the air cleaner.
Seems there is some sort of oil return drain tube
What most likely happened is someone forgot to ensure that the drain
pipe was seated in the lower half when they removed and re-installed the
air filter bucket.
I did this a couple of times until I learned to always reach underneath
and make sure they were seated together properly.
