A hammer (to reverse the deformation) will be easier than the file. IIRC, the secret to putting the battery in there is to slip the rubber molding off of the lip in that area. Gives you an extra fraction of an inch of clearance, which is pretty helpful. Then push the molding back on. -- Jim ___
