I believe my record is four times. The component leads can oxidize such
that the solder
doesn't want to stick very well. In such cases I do a lot of rubbing with

I just went thru the board again. I found a couple of points that I
redid that were light on the solder. I also found a spot where some
loose solder flakes might have potentially been connecting 2 points. I
double checked to make sure I had the polarity correct on the caps.

How confident are you that you did a good job the first time? Maybe take
some pix front of board and back, put them up on Google Drive or someplace
where Craig and Jim can take a look and give you a grade for your work so
far.
If you think you could do better, take another crack at it. Kinda
I ordered them from mouser back in July of 17.

I took it for a longer drive probably 15 miles or so and it does seem to be
doing as described. Sometimes it does seem like it holds speed longer then
eventually starts to drop. Accelerate seems to do nothing. I checked the input
signals from the stock and they all check out.

The sinking speed sure sounds like a leaking speed reference cap.
Whether the cap is leaking or something is draining it, I wouldn't begin to
know.

I would make sure the stalk has been cleaned well, that is, the switch part.
If the connection in the stalk switch is intermittent it can cause some weird
stuff.

I am sorting out this 190D and one of the issues was dead cruise
control. When I first got it cruise was completely dead. I pulled the
amp and replaced the caps. It would engage sometimes and will hold for
a minute or so then would drop out. I pulled the amp again and replaced
the solder
