Well, my occasional engine failure has finally become persistent
now that the weather is colder.
If I shut it the ignition off for a few seconds and turn it back on,
it restarts if I was going fast enough to keep the engine turning.
When I got home, I shut down for a couple minutes, restarted,
90% chance that it's the pump relay.
Thanks,

Should I be looking at the pump relay, the crank sensor, or the
overload
gizmo first?
If the AC's running, and ABS/SRS lights aren't misbehaving,
I'd look at the fuel pump relay first. It's an easy resolder
job.

Looks like I'll try a resolder. If I had another gasser here, I
would try swapping relays.
The 16v relay is $250, the 8v is $100.
I assume the 8V will work, but the fuel would cut off before I hit redline?
Mitch.
