Guys, I've decided to downsize our fleet (from 3 to 2) and my 300D is one of the two candidates for sale (the other is a '95 Audi A6 quattro wagon). I bought the '93 in Raleigh last fall and brought it back to New England. I've gone through it and have replaced/repaired everything that needed fixing (not much really). I'm either the second or third owner. I think Carfax shows only one previous... Here's the details on the Mercedes: '93 2.5L turbodiesel with 182K miles. Recently converted to synthetic oil (Delvac). Solid southern car with no rust. Metallic blue exterior. Rare heated seats and ASD option. European headlamps. Currently has 15" AMG flat wheels (not replica) with Nokian RSi snow tires, new this fall. Also have set of 15" all season tires and a set of later E class 16x7.5" wheels for the car (no tires for these wheels). Hardwired for Valentine V1 (over rear view mirror). Hardwired for Uniden CB (transmission hump) and Wilson trunklip-mounted antenna. Hardwired Motorola handsfree speakerphone kit (compatible with many current Mot phones). Light window tint (Massachusetts legal) I have a set of fresh Bilstein HD shocks (new in box) and a pair of limo/500E sway bars and bushings ready to be installed. Car gets a real 35 MPG at 75 mph on the highway. Currently at 30-32 due to winter fuel mixture. Exterior and interior are both in good to very good shape overall. Driver's seat slightly worn on left upper bolster. Upper wood console clean, lower wood console has slight finish cracking. Cuddy box clean and lockable. Car located in Boston area. Known problems: The left seat heater currently isn't working, I believe it's the element. The trunkmounted CD changer does not work. There's a bulb out light showing on the dash (I can't find the bad bulb...it may just be a loose contact or mismatched bulbs). There's a *minor* door ding on the left front fender and a crimp in the right front fender, at the top of the wheel arch. The second set of wheels, the shocks, sway bars, CB radio and the V1 are all negotiable. I can use the CB and V1 in my other car, the other stuff will go on ebay if it doesn't go with the car... I've got just under $9000 into the car, before the shocks and sway bars. Will consider all reasonable offers. The car will go on ebay on Sunday. I thought I'd give you guys first shot at it.
